Hi! My name is Maddy and I have created this website so my family and friends can follow my dance journey. I will be posting information about upcoming competitions and how you can watch virtually!
About Me
I am 14 years old and a freshman in high school. I have been dancing for 8 years. Since moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2019, my passion for dance has increased exponentially. I love contemporary/lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop styles of dance. I also train in ballet and recently earned my Pointe shoes! (That’s a big deal in a dancer’s world.)
Recent Dance History
This year, I am on the competition team again AND I have a solo routine!
I will be competing in 5 local dance competitions, 1 national dance competition; ***Dancing in 4 group dances and 1 solo dance at EACH of these competitions!
Training
I spend 9 hours per week training at a local dance academy. Some weeks I also have Saturday training and conditioning (usually for another 4-5 hours). I also practice and workout at home in my dance studio. It's quite a lot of work, but I love dance and I want to be the best I can as a dancer. I aspire to open my own dance studio someday.
